What's included in the design fee?

Every Room Revival service includes everything needed to take your room from idea to completion.

That includes the initial consultation, design planning, visual renderings of your room, product recommendations, sourcing, shopping lists, vendor coordination, ordering guidance, delivery coordination, project management, installation scheduling, final styling, and overseeing the transformation from start to finish.

The only costs not included are the materials and items you choose to purchase for your room (such as furniture, lighting, décor, or finishes) and any trade work your project may require (such as painting, electrical work, flooring, trim, cabinetry, or other specialty services).

Every recommendation is reviewed with you before moving forward, so you'll always know exactly what you're approving and where your investment is going.

Our goal is simple: once your design is approved, we handle the details so you can enjoy watching your room come together.

How long does a project take?

Every project is different, but Room Revival is designed to create meaningful change without turning your life upside down. Once the design is approved, products are available, and the installation is scheduled, many rooms can be completed quickly—sometimes in as little as one week. We’ll provide a realistic timeline before the work begins.

Question 3

What’s the difference between Refresh, Revive, and Transform?

Refresh makes better use of what you already own through a new layout, thoughtful styling, and a few carefully selected additions. Revive blends existing pieces with new furnishings, lighting, rugs, window treatments, artwork, and accessories for a more complete transformation. Transform is our most comprehensive service for rooms that may include paint, flooring, wall treatments, custom details, built-ins, cabinetry, or other hands-on improvements.

Do I have to replace everything I already own?

Not at all. One of the things we love most is finding new possibilities in pieces you already own. We’ll help determine what should stay, what could work better somewhere else, and where a few thoughtful additions would make the biggest difference.

What if I’m not sure which service is right for me?

That’s completely normal. Tell us about your room and what you hope to change, and we’ll help determine the level of support that makes the most sense. For homeowners who prefer to take the lead but want a designer’s perspective, our $650 Design Strategy Session may be the perfect place to begin.

What is a Design Strategy Session?

Think of it as borrowing an interior designer for an afternoon. During a focused in-home session, we can help with layouts, paint colors, furnishings, lighting, finishes, sourcing ideas, priorities, and decisions you may be second-guessing. You’ll leave with greater clarity, practical next steps, and confidence before spending money or moving forward.

Do you handle sourcing, ordering, and installation?

Depending on the service you choose, we can manage product sourcing, ordering, tracking, delivery coordination, small-trade scheduling, installation, and final styling. Your proposal will clearly explain what is included so you know exactly what Room Revival will handle.

Question 8

Can Room Revival help with smaller or overlooked spaces?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Pantries, laundry rooms, closets, entryways, drop zones, guest rooms, home offices, nurseries, and other hardworking spaces can completely change how a home feels and functions. A room does not have to be large to make a meaningful difference.

Do you only work on residential spaces?

Residential rooms are at the heart of Room Revival, but we also welcome opportunities to refresh offices, boutiques, restaurants, hospitality spaces, and other small commercial environments that would benefit from a more thoughtful, functional, and inviting design.
